Problem
- Inefficient process of managing product cards in internal network IT systems:
- The same products are supplied by different suppliers. This leads to duplicated product cards and data discrepancies between internal IT systems.
- When adding a new assortment, a large set of data and documents needs to be coordinated among employees from various departments. The process took from 1 week to a month. Coordination was done via email with multiple file attachments. Any changes in the data resulted in canceling all previously obtained approvals and restarting the chain. There is no change tracking.
- Difficulties in synchronizing product data between different network IT systems hinder centralized procurement and consolidated reporting.
Solution
